No reasonable person is going to throw a hissy fit when they encounter a Jeweller's box expecting it to drop orbs and jewels but instead dropping jewellery gear. So you think new players should be able to understand everything immediately without putting in any effort and time? Nevermind that hovering above a jeweller's orb tells you exactly what it does, you should be able to just tell what it does from its name alone. This messes with player reasoning, and can result in players not immediately grasping the cause and effect of their actions
The game loses nothing if Jewels are all renamed "Virtues" to fit with the existing lore surrounding the gem system, or if the Jeweler's Orb is renamed to Gemsetter's Bauble, because the name exists as a simple string that can be edited in all of 15 minutes, while having improper names will waste more time.

A Jeweler's Orb doesn't share any commonality with Jewels or with the Jeweler's Strongbox yet the terms used for these things all suggest they do. In this case, you have three terms that are all similar but have effects completely different from one another. It's essentially using context clues to guess what something is or does. Compare to the word "bastard" for instance that tends to look less favorably on people of this descent. My post was more about the denotations of the words, they are certainly used with negative connotations but the point is that nothing about the word is innately negative.
I don't personally consider this to be any different than calling white people white or black people black persistently, since unless it is of immediate relevance the whole point is that regardless of any demographic quality, we are all people with hearts and feelings. Yes, if I was at a Synagogue and said "so this is where you jews hang out, so jews, jews, jews.jews" yeah I'm sure they would get kinda annoyed, same as if I were at a gay bar. I realize different people react differently to being "labelled", but the point is that these words do have legitimate uses when they are used appropriately. Please note that I am not trying to be the person that says "I'm not racist against black people.I have a black friend". Likewise I have had civilized conversations with people that are gay, and again it's just used as a descriptor, it's much cleaner to say than always beating around the bush to be more "politically correct". In a civilized discussion I don't consider when talking about religion, someone saying "I'm Jewish" to be self-deprecating, but that doesn't prevent people who aren't to consider themselves "such a jew". That being said, I have heard people from these communities identify themselves as gay or Jewish, because they are just descriptive words. "Gay" was simply introduced for another example to compare with. I am merely discussing the inherit meanings of them and the application to the game. I am neither gay nor Jewish, and even if I were I wouldn't consider myself insolent enough to speak for the respective communities as to whether or not the words are slurs.
